Well, what a year it has been! We are very thankful for all our wonderful staff and supportive families who have been with us this year.

Well, what a year it has been! We are very thankful to all our wonderful staff and supportive families who have been with us this year. 2020 will indeed be one to remember but throughout it all, the children and staff have been having fun at nursery! Here’s a handful of some of the things we have been up to in the later part of the year.

At Halloween, we got messy with pumpkins! It was fun for the children to get messy and create patterns on the pumpkins with the paint!

For fireworks night, the children were interested in different fireworks, so one of our nursery staff did the Coke and Mentos experiment to recreate something like fireworks for the children! Let’s just say that they all got a little but messy!!

For Remembrance Day we made some poppy biscuits and decorated them. It was fun for the children to bake the biscuits and to learn about Remembrance Day and the meaning behind it.

For Diwali, the children made Rangoli patterns out of coloured sand. It was interesting to see all of the patterns that we could make and afterwards create a mess of colours with the sand!

The children at the nurseries had a lot of fun doing activities and dressing up in order to raise money for Children in Need. Puffins in total raised £427.43!

We have ended the year celebrating and prepping for Christmas! We have had Christmas dinner at nursery, made Christmas decorations, made wreaths, Christmas dens and lots more.

What a wonderful year the nurseries have had!

We hope that you all have a lovely Christmas and a happy New Year. We will see you all in 2021!
