Days of celebration

In June we decided to take some time to celebrate National writing day and World ocean day. In the bumblebee room the children had a grid with numbers on and fruit to match the amount, they then had a go at tracing over the grid with chalk, this helped to develop their fine motor, counting and problem solving skills.

On ocean day we created a tuff tray and added natural resources, the children used tweezers to pluck the litter out and we discussed what a healthy ocean is and what belongs in the sea.

Baby massage

Recently Jo came to visit some of our nursery settings, in order to guide our practitioners on how to perform a baby massage safely and to make it an enjoyable experience for both the babies and practitioners. Overall everyone had a great time and even some of the older children wanted to join in with their own toy babies!

Our poems have been published!📚

Congratulations to Clystheath on the publication of their poems! This is a remarkable achievement that showcases the creativity, dedication, and ability to capture the wonder and joy of childhood through words. The vibrant imagery and engaging rhythm of your work will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on little minds, sparking their imaginations and encouraging their own creative expressions. Celebrating this milestone with you for all your talent and hard work—well done! 🌟

May Half Term Holiday Club

We wanted to reflect on how much fun we had at our May Half Term Holiday Club this year!

We hosted a lego competition, we decorated tote bags, did lots of baking and making, the scones were especially nice. When the sun came out we made to most of it and headed to the park for games of football and a good run around. We even had a visit from our favourite ‘Big Gary’ the snail.

A lot of fun was had and it’s always nice to see familiar faces return!

A special shout out to Naomi, Carter and the apprentices who lend their hand to ensuring the Holiday Club runs smoothly, we wouldn’t be able to do this without you!

We can now confirm that the Summer Holiday club will be running from Monday 29th of July to Friday 22nd of August. We will see a return of our HAF programme in these dates, these are to be confirmed imminently, so please keep an eye on our socials for these dates.

Spring Crafts at Puffins

Spring has sprung, and what better way to celebrate the season of renewal and growth than with some delightful crafts. On Saturday 27th April 2024 we held a spring crafts event at all our nurseries for both parents and children to attend. There was a range of different activities from colourful flowers to adorable animals, the children had lots of fun sparking their imaginations and giggling alongside peers, it was a great opportunity for parents/carers to meet each other as well as engaging with staff.

Our next event will be the Summer Fete being held on Saturday 20th July 2024.

Easter Holiday Club 2024

As the Easter holiday’s come to an end, we wanted to reflect on how much fun we had at our Easter Holiday Club this year! We saw a return of our HAF offering for the second week of the holidays and Naomi and the team made sure there were lots of fun activities planned each day.

We had a silent disco, we designed t-shirts, did lots of cooking and baking. When the sun came out we made to most of it and headed to the park for games of football and a good run around. There were also times where we got our brains in gear and tried to become code breakers!

Everyone had a lot of fun, and it’s always nice to see familiar faces return!

We wouldn’t be able to run our holiday club without the help of Naomi, Carter and the apprentices that lend their hand to helping every single day, so thank you!!!!

Keep an eye out on our socials as the plan for the Summer Holidays is coming together nicely. We look forward to seeing you all soon.
