In June we decided to take some time to celebrate National writing day and World ocean day. In the bumblebee room the children had a grid with numbers on and fruit to match the amount, they then had a go at tracing over the grid with chalk, this helped to develop their fine motor, counting and problem solving skills.

On ocean day we created a tuff tray and added natural resources, the children used tweezers to pluck the litter out and we discussed what a healthy ocean is and what belongs in the sea.
