Exeter City Centre

Our nursery is situated at 1 West Street in Exeter, in a bright, open-plan environment with a cosy courtyard outdoor area. Conveniently located in the heart of the city, we are easily accessible for families from a wide catchment area.

We offer a secure pushchair store, making it simple for families arriving on foot or by public transport.

Inside, our spacious and flexible layout is designed to support children aged 0–5 years, with dedicated areas tailored to each age group. The open design allows for a natural flow between spaces, supporting smooth transitions and a calm, inclusive atmosphere.

Children enjoy free-flow access outdoors in our courtyard play space, and our city centre location means they benefit from regular trips and outings that enrich their learning and build an understanding of the world around them. Popular destinations include Exeter Cathedral, local parks, the museum, the library, the quayside and nearby transport stations.

The setting is managed by Chloe who has been with Puffins since 2014. Chloe holds Level 3 in Early Years Education and Level 5 Level Lead practitioner.  Chloe is supported by Sephi, the Deputy Manager, who joined Puffins in 2025 and is currently an Early Years Teacher Trainee. The team were tremendously proud of achieving their Good across all areas in their last Ofsted inspection and continually strive to maintain this high standard.
